Phone stolen. A Verizon Droid cell phone was stolen from a Montvale resident in the coffee shop at Bristol Myers-Squibb between 9:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on August 23. The phone was valued at $500.

Identity Theft. A Plainsboro man was the victim of a theft on August 19. Police said someone withdrew $35 from the victim’s Wells Fargo Bank checking account.

Bike Theft. Someone stole a silver Trex mountain bicycle from a Hamilton Lane resident on August 11. The $350 bike was stolen from the victim’s garage between 1 and 5:40 p.m.

E-Crime. Someone tried to use a credit/debit card stolen from a Plainsboro resident to make $912.53 in illegal purchases on the Internet. Police said the victim lost her wallet containing the card at the Princeton Meadows Shopping Center and reported it stolen to her bank. She was later contacted by the bank and informed that someone tried to use it to purchase two items on two different websites.

Drug Arrest. Andrew J. Whitney, 21, Joseph M. Marchionni, 22, and Anthony E. Capelli, 21, all of Branford, CT, were arrested August 14 and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. Officer Russell Finkelstein said he stopped Whitney on College Road East for erratic driving and found marijuana and a glass pipe in his car. The officer said he also found three empty cans of beer under the passenger seat.

Marchionni was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Whitney was issued summonses for failure to maintain lane control, possession of a controlled substance in a vehicle, and open alcoholic beverage containers in a vehicle.

Jaclyn R. Gallo, 24, of Highlands was arrested August 23 on a drug possession charge. Officer Deon McCall said he stopped Gallo on Scotts Corner Road at about 1:30 a.m. after she made an illegal u-turn at the intersection with Plainsboro Road.

The officer said that Gallo appeared to be “disoriented and possibly lost.” A search of her car yielded 1.5 grams of marijuana and a glass marijuana pipe, said police. In addition to a marijuana possession charge, Gallo was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Auto Theft. A 1992 Oldsmobile was stolen from the parking lot in front of 38 Ravens Crest Drive between 7 p.m. August 13 and 3:30 a.m. August 14. Police believe the car, valued at $500, was entered through a rear window.

Necklace Nabbed. A $600 necklace was stolen between June 16 and August 16 from a Wyndhurst Drive resident. Police said the piece — an 18-inch, white/yellow gold, nameplate necklace containing between 32 and 36 diamonds — was taken from a jewelry box in the victim’s bedroom.

Underage Alcohol Arrests. Two teens involved in an argument in a Hunters Glen Drive apartment were arrested August 19 and charged with underage consumption of alcohol. Police were dispatched to 2207 Hunters Glen to investigate a report of a dispute.

The two individuals involved, Rahkeem A. Ortiz, 19, of Trenton and Gwen M. Bowser, 19, of Plainsboro, were arrested after they were found to be in possession of and consuming alcoholic beverages while under the legal age, said Officer Daniel Kanaley.

Office Burglary & Theft. Several businesses in 103 College Road East were burglarized between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on August 17. Police said someone entered two offices and stole a total of $233 cash by prying open two locked desk. Three other business appeared to have suffered damage to their front doors.

Drunk Driving Arrests. Kabena K. Kirkwood, 34, of Jacksonville, FL, was arrested August 11 on a drunk driving charge. Police said Kirkwood was stopped at 3:13 a.m. on Route 1 south for speeding and was found to be intoxicated. He was also charged with refusing to take a breath test.

Arrested for underage DWI on August 13 was Natasha Sastri, 20, of Mahogany Court. Police said Sastri was stopped at 2:17 a.m. on Wyndhurst Drive for broken tail lights and was found to be intoxicated.

Arideuly Rodriguez-Santana, 20, of Trenton was charged with underage DWI on August 16. According to police, Rodriguez-Santana was stopped on Route 1 south at 12:39 a.m. for speeding and was found to be intoxicated. He was also charged with uninsured driving.

Roberto F. Tonelli-Gallotti, 49, of Ravens Crest Drive was arrested August 21 for drunk driving. Officer Joseph Dell Beni said he stopped Tonelli-Gallotti at about 2 a.m. for making an improper turn at the intersection of Scudders Mill and Schalks Crossing roads and found him to be intoxicated.
