Theft. A resident of Huntly Drive reported to police that someone stole three GPS units, worth about $300, from the cars parked in the resident’s overnight between May 14 and 15. The vehicles may have been unlocked, they told police.

DWI. Miguel Angel Ortiz Jr., 21, of Trenton was charged May 18 with driving while intoxicated. Officer Christopher Van Ness said he saw him driving on Route 1 north at a speed that was over 30 miles per hour over the limit. He said he followed him and watched him swerve from lane to lane. He said he stopped him in the area of Varsity Avenue and found he was intoxicated. He was also charged with reckless driving, driving on the revoked list, being an unlicensed driver, and having an equipment violation.
